Liz McIntyre

VP / Director of Social Media & Public Relations, Renasant Bank

Liz didn’t know banking was the career for her, but she’s found her place and she’s thriving in one of the largest regional community banks in U.S.

In the latest podcast, we covered Liz’s expansive role at the bank and how she leverages Renasant’s treasure trove of content to teach bankers how to share valuable and fun information with customers and prospects alike. We also discussed her creation of “Rise with Renasant,” a women’s professional empowerment initiative, for which Liz is determined to mold into a lasting, authentic and representative narrative for women leaders within the bank and within the communities Renasant Bank serves.

More About Liz

Liz Lancaster McIntyre graduated from Millsaps College with a BA in Communications in 2011. After nine years of marketing and social media experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, McIntyre joined Renasant Bank as Social Media Manager in March of 2018.

McIntyre is now Director of Social Media and Public Relations where she is responsible for managing and monitoring all social media and PR related to Renasant Bank. One of her favorite aspects of the job is traveling to branches across the Renasant Bank footprint to teach employees how to use social media professionally.

McIntyre is also in the process of developing a new women’s leadership initiative called Rise with Renasant. This platform highlights and supports women entrepreneurs in Renasant’s communities, gives women employees who work for Renasant more opportunities to expand their professional horizons by providing them with more professional development and networking opportunities, and by teaching girls and young women about social media etiquette & safety, girl power, and futures for women in business and banking.

Liz currently resides in Oxford, MS with her husband Andrew, a ceramic artist who teaches at The University of Mississippi, and their two doodles, Olive and Riese. She was recently named one of Mississippi Business Journal's Top 50 Business Women for the state of Mississippi.
