Ben Pankonin

Founder and CEO, Social Assurance

On our latest episode, Hunter and Ben discuss the evolution of his company, Social Assurance, and how it has changed alongside the rapid evolution of social media in the last decade. As banks and credit unions have dealt with the recent crisis, Ben has seen many of his clients who were well-positioned on these channels, able to quickly disseminate information, but also show vulnerability and authenticity in ways financial institutions had not to-date. This transparency could create a powerful new moment for community financial institutions throughout this crisis and beyond.

Should banks be doing teen savings dance videos on TikTok? What’s next in social? Ben preaches caution and we break down where financial brands are having (and will have) success.
